6 years of Carnival on the Thames. This year? It's all about YOU.

For 5 years we’ve had a three tier boat of madness with a rooftop sunset. Every Summer, Tower Bridge has been in the background doing what it does, and every Summer the party’s been sold-out, with spectacular overproof vibes.

But, you know what Granny used to say ‘bout too much a one ting, you remember? So…. 2026 is gonna be different. 2026 is the year the people become the party.

Welcome to Carnival On The Thames: MasKerade Edition.

No doubt you’re familiar with masquerade - black lace, candlelight and Venetian opera masks gathering dust in an antique shop. That's not us, never has been. 

We're Caribbean people. 

We're loud, warm, colourful and full of life. We do tings our own way - the Rum ‘N’ Bass way!

So, we’ve done what Caribbean people do - given masquerade a makeover, added our own spice, dressed it with a capital K and made it ours.

Masquerade is black and white. 

But MasKerade? MasKerade comes in every colour.


MasKerade is the sexy eye mask that catches the golden hour light off Tower Bridge. It's feathers in every colour. From the moment you put it on, feel like the most alive version of yourself. Wear it all night. Put it on your head and push it back into your hair when the riddim gets too vibeey. Or, go without, the vibes will carry you either way.

Picture it: August Bank Holiday Carnival Saturday evening. Golden sunset over the Thames. Tower Bridge lit up ahead of you - or behind you, depending on which way we're sailing, and honestly, both views are incredible. Three floors of music. Rooftop sunset. River breeze on your skin. Your Favourite drink in your hand. Your best outfit. Your best people. This scenery is all for you, and your special Carnival Friends #NoKesAndBenjai.

This year we have our biggest international line up of acts 

Soca. Dancehall. Hip Hop. Afrobeats.

All night. All vibes. No apologies.

This is the pre-carnival party London builds towards all summer. Every single Summer, without fail, it sells out with Carnival on the Thames veterans and newbies from the UK, Caribbean, Asia, Europe and beyond.

So, get your eye masK on. Best bright outfit out, and let’s get River ready.

Important Tings

for Carnival on the Thames

  • We have a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and prejudice. If you are made to feel uncomfortable in any way, please do not hesitate to speak to any member of the Rum 'N' Bass team, who will assist you.

  • MV Pearl of London is an accessible vessel, with a disabled toilet that has full wheelchair access and panic alarm installed. If you have any specific needs or questions, please reach out to Team Rum 'N' Bass (at least 24 hours prior to the event).

  • Festival Pier is situated directly opposite from The Southbank Centre's yellow staircase, next to restaurant, GIRAFFE.

  • - Underground & Rail (in order of closeness): Westminster / London Charing Cross / Waterloo / Embankment

    - River Bus: Festival Pier

    - Bus: 139 / 148 / 168 / 172 / 6 / X68

    - Parking: Secure a parking space in advance, or on the day (subject to to availability) via www.yourparkingspace.co.uk

  • The event age limit is 21+

    Photo ID is required

    The Vessel management reserve the right to refuse entry.

  • We have allowed 30 minutes for checking-in and boarding attendees, which is aligned with our access to the pier. The Vessel Management reserves the right to finalise boarding at 6:45pm in preparation to sail at 7pm. We do not have any control over the timing and the boat will not wait for latecomers. Don’t be THAT person running down the pier!

  • This event is a boat party that takes place on the River Thames. We will not be docked - we will sail the river throughout the duration.

  • We offer a limited number of exclusive, VIP Community concessionary early bird tickets to our community, including Blue Light Card Holder tickets for UK Emergency Services staff.

    Groups of 4 or more can also take advantage of discounted tickets on the event page.

  • VIP group table bookings to accommodate 7 or 8 people, with drink options, are available for those celebrating a birthday, graduation, hen/stag night or, if you just want to secure a dedicated space for you and your crew. Secure your table.

  • Food will not be served on the boat and outside food is not permitted onboard. However, if you'd like to eat before we depart the pier, we recommend arriving to the area early, as there are many food vendors nearby.

  • Rum 'N' Bass does not offer refunds. However, we will be happy to transfer your ticket to another attendee, up to 48 hours prior to the event. Please email admin@rumnbass.com with your ticket confirmation reference/number from the same email address that you used to book, plus the full name, email + phone number of the new attendee.
